RS Audit was appointed by the Market Research Society Singapore (MRSS) and the Ministry of Digital Development and Information (MDDI) to conduct audit for MRSS’s new Accreditation Framework.
In this appointment, the “Onsite Process Audit (OPA)” was developed to evaluate and accredit Market Research (MR) firms’ capability to conduct door-to-door data collection for Government agencies.

The OPA was established to ensure consistency in research quality and service delivery standards for MR firms that provide door-to-door, face-to-face fieldwork interview capabilities for Government agencies.
MR firms that pass the audit and are accredited will be accorded a higher level of recognition in their tender proposals for MDDI’s Research Period Contract cum Framework Agreement.
MR firms that pass the audit and are accredited will be accorded a higher level of recognition in their tender proposals for MDDI’s Research Period Contract cum Framework Agreement. MR Firms can publicise their new accreditation status once they receive it.
OPA is applicable to MR firms that directly conduct door-to-door, face-to-face fieldwork with interview capabilities.
Yes, MR firms can continue to tender for government research projects, including the Research PCFA, without being accredited. However, tender proposals from MR firms which are not accredited will not qualify for higher level recognition.
MR firms that do not pass the audit may reapply again. This will be subject to a reapplication fee charged by RSA.
